Happy Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is not just about roast turkey and the food that we have on our table, it’s not just about a reunion with your family or gathering with your friends. Thanksgiving comes but once year, more than the feast, reunion or gatherings, it is also a day for us to appreciate the blessings that we received from God throughout the year. More often than not, we find it easy to ask for favors from God but forgets to thank Him, especially if He answered our prayers in a way that we wanted. Everyday is a blessing, the best reason to be thankful each day is waking up each morning and knowing that after yesterday you have “today.” This occasion is a good reason for us to count our blessings… It is also a reason to acknowledge that there are numerous reasons to thank God each day.
20131014-230619.jpgIn order for us to realize our blessings, it is important to learn to appreciate even the smallest things that we have and that we know how to use them in a correct way. We must be happy for the blessings that Other people receive, especially for those who are around us. More importantly, we must share our blessings and become a blessings to others.
This year, there are a number of reasons that I should be very thankful of. I have actually loose track of them. But the important things that I am thankful of are:
My three wonderful kids that bring sunshine in my day.
My ever loving, patient and supportive husband.
My loving and understanding parents.
My supportive sisters.
My very kind in-laws.
My health and my family’s health.
My job.

My good and inspiring boss.
My friends at work.
My closest friends.
These and the countless things that God continuously provides to us are the very reason why I am very grateful to Him.
May God perpetually shower His blessings upon us! Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Momsiecle

Momsiecle is short for Momsie's Circle. I started my first blog on a free blogging platform in 2006 as a just for fun blog. When my family and I moved to Winnipeg in 2009, I started to write about my challenges and discoveries about living in Canada as an immigrant. In 2012, I decided to make momsiecle.com a place to come for aspiring Canadian immigrants and for people who are embracing life in the “new world” that they are in.
